The team at Relevance Yacht have had the pleasure of marketing some of the world’s finest superyachts over the past decade. Here we take a look at the more unusual yachts that have caught our eye whilst working with some of the world’s leading shipbuilders and yacht brokers.

1 – LADY OF ASEANIA

ASEAN LADY is a stunning 88-metre asymmetric yacht built by Chinese shipyard Pride Mega Yachts in 2004. Her design is based on the proa, a multi-hull bamboo boat that dates back centuries and was used by indigenous people in the South Pacific. Her unique design features many features, such as increased space and less noise. She boasts great long-range cruising capability and excellent seakeeping – in fact, her unique hull design allowed her to withstand the devastating 2004 tsunami while anchored in Phuket. Her many strengths include a luxurious and voluminous interior, with eight large staterooms, the master over 1,700 square feet, and a helipad. And if that weren’t enough, this stunning vessel can maneuver sideways for effortless docking. Her unique design earned her the award for Most Innovative Motor Yacht, given by Showboats International in 2005. She is currently for sale.

2 – GALAXY OF HAPPINESS

The 53-metre GALAXY OF HAPPINESS is the largest and fastest trimaran yacht in the world. Built by Latvian shipyard Latitude Yachts and launched in 2016, this yate único features a striking futuristic design by Coste Design & Partners. She reaches a top speed of 30 knots and is equipped with advanced propulsion systems and technology that allow her to cruise with zero emissions. Her interior features striking gloss white furnishings and dark wood details.

3 – CREOLE

CREOLE is by far the oldest yacht on this list, but almost a century later she is still racing. She was built in the UK and had a quiet civilian life before being used as a minesweeper during World War II. She was later acquired by the Danish government and scrapped to be used as a training ship. She eventually came into the hands of Maurizio Gucci, who restored her to her original condition. Now the Gucci family yacht, owned by Allegra Gucci, she has taken part in numerous regattas and even won the Monaco Classic Week in 2013.

4 – YAS

Yas is a yate único design, thanks in part to her origins. She was built by Damen in the Netherlands as HNLMS Piet Hein, a Kortenaer-class anti-submarine frigate, and entered service in 1981. She served in the Royal Dutch Navy before being sold to the United Arab Emirates Navy. She was decommissioned in 2005, and so began the long rebuilding process that would see her transformed into one of the world’s most modern warships. the most unique superyachts . She now has a length of 141 metres and a top speed of 26 knots. Now christened YAS, she features a striking interior and exterior design, the work of the Pierrejean design studio. There’s no doubt that this is a yacht of the utmost luxury, but you don’t have to look far to realise that her military origins shine through her sleek exterior and iconic dome.

5 – CHRISTINA O

CHRISTINA O is a 99.13 metre yacht originally launched as HMCS Stormont, a River-class frigate designed for anti-submarine warfare in the Atlantic that even took part in the Normandy landings. After the war, the vessel was purchased as naval surplus by Greek billionaire Aristotle Onassis and named after his daughter Christina. CHRISTINA O has played host to numerous celebrities including John F. Kennedy, Sir Winston Churchill and Frank Sinatra, and even hosted the wedding reception of Prince Rainier III of Monaco and his future wife Grace Kelly. Following Onassis’ death, the yacht was taken over by the Greek government as a presidential yacht and allowed to fall into disrepair before being sold to a friend of the Onassis family, who restored CHRISTINA O to its former glory.

6 – GUILTY

Both a yacht and a work of art, GUILTY is a 35-metre yacht built by Cantieri Navali Rizzardi in 2008 and designed by Jeff Koons, an American artist, and Ivana Pofiri, an Italian yacht designer. The vessel immediately catches the eye, with shades of blue, white, black and yellow in a paint scheme reminiscent of the dazzle camouflage used on World War II warships. The interior design includes numerous works of art, thanks to her owner, Dakis Joannous, an avid art collector who wished for his yacht to be both the floating work of art and the ultimate collection.

7 – KHALILAH

Palmer Johnson’s 49-metre superyacht KHALILAH makes our best-selling list of yates únicos thanks to her striking metallic gold colour. But KHALILAH is much more than just her gold appearance. She has a carbon fibre superstructure with baffles on the sides, giving her a look reminiscent of a trimaran. With a top speed of 30 knots, KHALILAH is also one of the fastest displacement yachts of her size. Launched in 2014, the vessel’s interior is designed by Palmer Johnson, who incorporated Southeast Asian design elements along with eccentric elements such as a mosaic featuring various sea creatures. KHALILAH is impossible to miss in port or at sea, and her performance and style make the experience on board unique and memorable.

8 – ARTEFACT

Built by Relevance Yacht client Nobiskrug, the German shipyard, the award-winning ARTEFACT is perhaps the most cutting-edge yacht on this list. ARTEFACT is a hybrid yacht and can operate for a limited time without internal combustion engines, thanks to its state-of-the-art solar panels and batteries. The yacht contains other environmentally friendly features as well, such as an Azipod system that allows it to maintain its position without dropping anchor and potentially damaging the seabed and an advanced wastewater recycling system. In fact, it was one of the first superyachts in the world to meet IMO Tier II emissions regulations. However, what makes this yacht truly unique is its spectacular use of glass, including an unprecedented floor-to-ceiling glass centre section that covers some 740 square metres and weighs almost 60 tonnes. Its striking exterior design incorporates sharp angles, geometric shapes and irregularly sized windows, so it’s easy to see why this is such a special yacht. yate único .

9 – SAILBOAT A

YATE DE VELA A shocked the yachting industry when she was launched by Nobiskrug in 2017. Her imposing size and radical design are highly divisive, with the yacht’s designer Philippe Starck commenting: “Some people hate her, I understand that; some people adore her, I understand that too.” Love her or hate her, there’s no doubt that SAILING YACHT A is one of the most unique superyachts on the planet. At almost 143 metres, she is the largest private sailing yacht in the world. Her interior is kept secret, but we do know that she has eight decks and that the windows are covered with a one-way film that prevents them from being seen from the outside. SAILING YACHT A is also known to have an underwater viewing area. The mystery of her interior only adds to her appeal, and there’s no doubt that she is a sight to behold in port or underway.

10 – MALTESE FALCON

The pace of acceleration in the yachting industry is such that yachts built several decades ago quickly lose some of their luster. However, this is not the case with the MALTESE FALCON, which looks as spectacular as the day it was delivered. The MALTESE FALCON was built by Perini Navi and is an 88-metre sailing yacht that uses DynaRig technology. DynaRig technology was first introduced in Germany in the 1960s as a method of saving fuel and using as few crew as possible on cargo ships. However, it never quite achieved this goal due to a lack of suitable construction materials. However, by the 1990s, these materials were viable and the MALTESE FALCON became the first vessel to use this modern square-rigged technology, sealing its place as one of the most modern cargo ships in the world. most unique ships en el mundo.

11 – TATOOSH

En un mundo de líneas elegantes y un flujo casi constante de nuevos diseños de yates, TATOOSH takes a different approach. Built by Nobiskrug in 2000, TATOOSH is a 92-metre yacht with a classic, timeless design. Her original owner, Craig McGraw, an American mobile phone magnate, wanted her built around tenders and helicopters. McGraw is fond of buying antique and vintage furniture and décor at auctions in the US, and the designers incorporated their eclectic finds into the yacht, making TATOOSH feel like a true home away from home. Her interior is filled with classic furniture and décor, matching her timeless exterior. She can also carry several tenders – including a 12-metre racing sailboat – and has plenty of room for more. In addition, TATOOSH features bulletproof windows and Kevlar-reinforced walls. This security was paramount to facilitate safe circumnavigation. The ship is said to have had a full British arsenal and even had eight Gurkhas – elite Nepalese soldiers who became famous for their service in the British Army – on board as crew members during McGraw’s time as owner. All these interesting aspects of the TATOOSH have made it one of the most famous ships in the world. yates más singulares .

12 – ROYAL FALCON ONE

A truly out-of-this-world vessel and the only catamaran on this list, ROYAL FALCON ONE is a 41.4-metre multihull built by Kockums Shipyard and Royal Falcon Fleet in 2019. The design was handled by Studio FA Porsche, and you don’t have to look far to see the influence of Porsche’s designers. The vessel’s curves are reminiscent of the back of a Porsche 911. However, the vessel wasn’t originally conceived with Porsche in mind. The owner wanted a boat that was a floating spaceship. Porsche delivered, and Royal Falcon One turns heads in every marina thanks to her sleek profile and yate único design. The spaceship theme doesn’t stop inside, and the designers included plenty of elements, such as a walkway lined with 14 RGB screens to connect two spaces. Most of the interior is quite open, thanks to the catamaran design, and the main deck is referred to as a capsule. From bow to stern, the ROYAL FALCON ONE is undoubtedly a vessel out of this world.

13 – GALAXY

GALAXY is a 56-metre Benetti superyacht built in 2005, with a fairly typical exterior for a modern yacht. However, what makes GALAXY unique is her interior, following a recent five-month refit. Her interior has been completely redesigned, breathing new life into the vessel. GALAXY’s main deck has been transformed into a members’ club with artwork by artist Dylan Cole, known for the Disney film Avatar. The vessel’s suites have been redesigned based on the different planets in the solar system, with each incorporating the different shades of the planets; Mars, for example, features shades of reddish brown. The vessel even features specially designed flooring. These are just some of the features that the owners have incorporated into their new floating home. With this refit, GALAXY has gone from being a plain, run-of-the-mill white yacht to a vessel with one of the most unique interiors.

14 – VENUS

VENUS is a 78.2-metre motor yacht built by Feadship with a minimalist and attractive design. The superyacht was built for the late Apple founder Steve Jobs, who passed away before the boat was completed. Her beautiful minimalist look is reminiscent of an Apple product, with striking silver paint, shiny stainless steel details and an all-glass lower superstructure. Her exterior is extremely clean, with nothing detracting from her sleek design – most notably, she has no visible radar arch or satellite equipment. Today, VENUS remains in the family’s ownership and is not available for charter. When photographers were able to get close enough to take a look inside, they observed that the bridge was lined with Mac computer screens. One can only imagine the unique design features that Steve Jobs incorporated into his yacht, but even considering only what is publicly known, VENUS still deserves a place on our list of the most beautiful yachts in the world. yate único lista.

15 – OLIVIA O

The 88.51-metre OLIVIA O has one of the most striking exterior hull shapes on this list, reminiscent of commercial vessels thanks to the X-BOW design. Her owner is passionate about industrial vessels, which explains the iconic shape of his yacht. OLIVIA O was delivered in Norway in 2018 by Ulstein Verft AS. She is the ultimate expedition yacht, well suited to rough seas and with a modern interior that makes excellent use of both wood and metal. OLIVIA O is described as a “go-anywhere, do-anything yacht”, adding the luxury expected of a yacht to the ruggedness and sheer capability of commercial vessels.
